The gas specialist Tyczka now also has biogenic liquefied petroleum gas (Bio LPG) as an alternative to fossil fuels in its portfolio. The use of this energy source from renewable sources, the requirements of the new Building Energy Act Building Energy Act (GEG) in the long term.
Biogenic LPG, as Tyczka now offers it, does not differ technically from conventional liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Easy to transport and store, liquefied petroleum gas has long proven itself as an off-grid fuel.
Unlike conventional LPG, however, biogenic LPG does not come from fossil fuels, but from organic or renewable raw materials. The product offered by Tyczka, for example, is a by-product of the production of BioKerosene.
Tyczka Energy certifies the green properties of the liquid gas. In order to meet regulatory requirements, Tyczka Bio offers LPG with a biogenic content of 15 percent, 65 percent and 100 percent.
As alternative fuel, Bio LPG can be used in all existing and new LPG systems - not only in industrial and commercial applications, but also in building heating systems in particular. The CO2 savings compared to fossil LPG are around 90 percent. In addition, the use of Bio LPG is virtually free of fine dust, soot and ash. And last but not least, the requirements of the Building Energy Act (GEG) and the Heating Act for the climate-neutral energy supply of existing buildings can be met easily and economically by using Bio LPG.
This opens up interesting prospects for homeowners and the HVAC trade: Operators of existing liquid gas heating systems can also operate their systems with Bio LPG without any further conversions. The conversion of natural gas-fired heating systems only requires minor technical modifications. Bio LPG is also an attractive and future-oriented solution for replacing oil heating systems.
Tyczka Energy, a brand of the Tyczka Group, is entering the market for Bio LPG as a leading player with this latest addition to its portfolio. The prerequisites for this are, on the one hand, decades of experience in the supply of liquid gas and a Germany-wide logistics network. On the other hand, the company supports customers converting their systems or starting to use Bio LPG with a special service package: the “Gas-einfach-grün-Paket” includes the cost-optimized installation of a biogenic LPG supply and consumption-based monthly billing at transparently calculable prices.
