Pure gases and gas mixtures from in-house filling

With the opening of a modern specialty gases plant, Tyczka Air Gases GmbH produces pure gases and gas mixtures for its clean gases, gas mixtures and test gases for its customers from its own filling facilities. Tyczka Air Gases GmbH (formerly Tyczka Industrie-Gase GmbH) has been in the industrial gases business for over 40 years and the plant in Würzburg has been in existence for just as long. It began in 1984 with a bottling plant for technical gases such as nitrogen, oxygen and argon, later a plant for refrigerants was added. The latest milestone is now the newly built specialty gases plant.

“Specialty gases have been an integral part of our product portfolio for many years. With modern and digitalized plant, we can now offer our customers in Germany and Central Europe products from our own filling plant. For us, this means a higher degree of independence and efficiency for us,” explains Dr. Frank Götzelmann (Spokesman of the of the Tyczka Group).

The pure gases and gas mixtures produced in Würzburg are not only used in the life sciences, but also in almost all branches of industry, for example in environmental technology or in the chemical industry. They are filled into high-pressure cylinders and aluminum pressure cans, the latter are particularly suitable for small gas quantities and can be sent by post. Depending on the product, bundles, pallet tanks and tank systems are also available.

Precision counts above all

“'Specialty Gases - When Precision Matters'. This claim describes what we stand for with our specialty gases - for accuracy, efficiency, and above all, precision,” emphasizes Stefan Grube (Head of Product Management Specialty Gases).

The requirements of customers from industries such as laboratories and analytics, research and development or the pharmaceutical industry, are in many cases highly individual. The complex production and filling of pure gases and certified gas mixtures therefore not only requires a high level of expertise but also involves many different testing and measuring steps. In order to be able to prove this quality Tyczka products have a certificate of analysis in accordance with DIN ISO 6141. The portfolio is rounded off by gas sampling and pressure control equipment pressure control equipment.
